We launched our Start Small Dream Big Project on 7 July 2025 and our focus is on conserving water and reuse water.
To start off our meaningful journey, our K1 children have been actively engaged in discussion about how we would save water in school as well as at home.
The children practice good habits by switching off the tap when they are soaping their hands. When watering the plants in school they would use a small container.
Our cook will save up the rice water and let us use to water the plants too.
Parents collaborated with us for this project , as they too practiced good habits with their children to save water such as using a cup to rinse their mouth after brushing their teeth and watering the plants with a watering can.
Through this project. The children learned the importance of saving water in their daily life, and how they would conserve water in a useful and meaningful way such as using reuse water which is rice water to water the plants.
Conservation of water mainly refer to protect and control the usage of water and its resources. Excessive water use can harm the environment, leading to depletion of river and lakes.
Educating children on water conservation helps them to understand their role in protecting the environment.
