Celebrating Love Across Generations - Grandparents Day 2025

Love, laughter and learning came together as three generations celebrated Grandparents’ Day in a truly heartwarming way.

As we concluded this year’s 2025 Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project, Caring for the Elderly, our centre was proud to collaborate with Families for Life (FFL) and Care Corner to mark this special occasion.

The highlight of the event was a three-generation, where grandparents, parents, and children came together to explore and appreciate each family’s unique love languages. The event included an introduction to the five love languages, followed by engaging activities and games at different booths, each thoughtfully designed to bring these love languages to life.

The celebration concluded with a recap of the five booth, distribution of goodie bags and Becky Bunnies keychains, and recognition of eight lucky winners who recieved McDonald’s vouchers. Beyond the activities and prizes, the true impact of the SSDB project was reflected in the smiles, laughter and meaningful connections shared by children and their families. It demonstrated how initiatives like SSDB nurture empathy, strengthen bonds across generations, and foster a caring and supportive community.

This year’s journey would not have been possible without the unwavering suppport of our community partners, parents and teachers. Through this experience, children have enjoyed treasured moments and meaningful connections, paving the way for more years of learning, growth, and celebration - every caring moment makes a difference.
