To conclude our “Giving Hearts” project with the N1 children, we invited them to present their heartfelt creations to their grandparents as a token of appreciation for their love and dedicated care. This simple act of giving brought smiles—and even a few surprises—to many grandparents. The children beamed with pride as they eagerly shared their handmade gifts during check-out, creating a touching and memorable moment for all.
The children thoroughly enjoyed participating in the SSDB project, which was clearly reflected in their enthusiasm and initiative. Some children eagerly went beyond expectations—requesting to create additional crafts and bracelets for their family members during learning centre time. Both children and parents supported the initiative wholeheartedly, from preparing healthy snacks for the class picnic to sharing meaningful photos of their child with their grandparents.
What truly solidified the impact of this project was witnessing the children’s sense of pride when expressing love. Their joy in presenting handmade gifts to their grandparents, matched by the warm smiles and pride of the recipients, was deeply moving. We hope these experiences leave a lasting impression and that the children will continue to embrace kindness and spread love in their own unique and meaningful ways.
