Our children have begun an exciting journey as part of this year’s Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project with the theme “Saving Our Ocean.” 💙
To kick off the project, the children were introduced to the fascinating world beneath the waves. They learned about the vastness of our oceans, the many creatures that call it home, and why the ocean is so important to life on Earth. Through pictures, videos, and storytelling, they discovered how the ocean gives us food, oxygen, and beauty — and how we must care for it in return. 🌍🐠🐢
The children showed great enthusiasm and curiosity as they shared what they already knew about sea animals and offered their own thoughts on how to keep the ocean clean. It was wonderful to see how thoughtful and caring they were, showing early awareness of environmental responsibility. 💬💖
To make learning even more fun, the children played an exciting game of sea creature charades! Laughter and creativity filled the room as they took turns acting out their favourite ocean animals — from playful dolphins to gentle jellyfish. 🐬🐙🐋
Through this project, our little ones are learning that even small actions — like picking up litter, saving water, or saying no to plastic — can make a big difference in protecting our oceans and marine life. 🌱
