In this activity, the K2 children were given an image of a pet and an empty bowl. Based on their newfound knowledge on food that different pets enjoy, the children put themselves in the shoes of the pets and drew food that they would love.
With that, they used coloured playdough to create these treats on their pet mats. Not only were they engrossed in rolling, cutting and shaping the playdough, they demonstrated empathy in thinking from the pets’ point of view.
