After our Earth Day session on the importance of recycling in protecting the planet, the children brought recyclable materials from home and placed them in the Drama Hub. They used these items to create and design practical objects like stationery holders, flower pots, tissue boxes, and piggy banks. The children then participated in pretend play by “selling” their handmade products to the teachers, naming their own prices and receiving play money in return. This activity taught them how recyclable materials can be repurposed into useful items for others, while also promoting environmental awareness and waste reduction.
