On 21st April 2023, in conjunction with Earth Day, children from My First Skool at 491 Admiralty Link launched our Recycling Station which can be access by the children, parents and the public.
Children from PG and N1 were introduced to SSDB through a storytelling session by the teachers. They learnt about ‘commitment’ from the book ‘BECKY BUNNY AND THE MISSING TREASURE’ by Chen Wei Teng and Susannah Chua.
Children from N2 to K2 were briefed about the plan for SSDB 2023 and the focus which is ‘Caring for the environment’ and ‘Caring for the community’ in consideration of this year’s President’s Challenge ‘Caring for Caregivers’.
Afterwards, children went to ALC RECYCLING STATION to sort out the recyclables into the correct bin. They pledged to protect the Earth as they stamped their thumbprint on the Earth board.
