Throughout the year, both the K1 and K2 children took part in a meaningful SSDB journey that introduced them to caring for the environment and giving back to the community. They began by learning about the purpose of the SSDB project and actively contributed by collecting pre-loved items. The children also visited See Soon in Simei to explore the composting process and understand how food waste can be turned into something useful. As part of Sustainability Day, all classes engaged in hands-on activities to learn about reducing waste and protecting the Earth. The children further deepened their understanding by creating posters and writing pledges on how they can care for the environment. To conclude the project, the K2 children took on the role of young advocates, sharing with others the simple actions everyone can take to help the environment. It has been a rich and meaningful year of learning and contributing together.
