As the children continued doing their recycling and gardening activities in class, they also took some time to write down their learnings and experiences on their SSDB Journals.
Some of the children drew out what materials they used in making their recycled pots and planters. Some wrote down the steps in planting edible mung beans and onions.
Indeed, this project opened the minds of young children as to how they can protect and preserve Mother Earth by upcycling pots and planters using recycled materials and they also learnt about sustainable gardening of edible plants which they can consume in school.
