Little Gardeners, Big Hearts is our centre’s SSDB project where children learn to care for the environment through fun and hands-on gardening activities. They grow their own vegetables and learn how plants grow through simple experiences like setting up a hydroponics system to grow lettuce. The children were excited to harvest and taste the fresh lettuce, sharing how crunchy and good it was. They also explored composting to reduce waste, while parents took part in a food waste awareness project to support their children’s learning. Through this project, we hope to nurture a love for nature, build responsibility, and help children understand how small actions can make a big difference for our Earth.
