Star Learners @ Woodlands - We can play our part: Appreciation for the HEROES (Poster making)

Our Kindergarten 1 and 2 children were engaged in making a poster to appreciate our medical workers who are helping to save lives of others. We are thankful for the contributions of the frontline workers, especially the healthcare staff who have to face uncertainty of being exposed to the virus on a daily basis.

Our Kindergarten 1 and 2 children were engaged in making a poster to appreciate our medical workers who are helping to save lives of others. We are thankful for the contributions of the frontline workers, especially the healthcare staff who have to face uncertainty of being exposed to the virus on a daily basis.

Our K2s extended gratitude to them by writing their appreciation to the doctors and nurses while the K1s illustrated about doctors, nurses, hospital, and ambulance.

The value of Gratitude is reflected as one of our Stanley Starfish character values program in our curriculum. We want to nurture heroes of characters, confidence, and creativity. Our children showed patience as they took turns to illustrate, process their thoughts, write down their feelings and paste their work on an piece of corrugated board.

Along with the poster, we delivered the care packs to the front line workers in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
