Parent involvement was a key element of the seed project, showing how learning is enriched when home and school come together. One Chatsworth parent generously shared her time with her child’s class, by leading a workshop, connecting the children’s study of seeds to the natural cycle of blooming and fruiting.
The session was both sensorial and creative, as children explored the scents, colors, shapes, and textures of flowers before arranging their own designs. This experience not only deepened their understanding of growth but also nurtured their well-being, encouraging them to slow down, reflect, and create.
Through such contributions, parents became true partners in learning—helping children see the beauty and meaning in the world around them.
