To kick off our SSDB project, some teachers from TembusuCSR came down to introduce and teach the children about the impacts of waste on our Earth. They emphasised how we should reduce our food waste by not overbuying and making use of food scraps by composting.
The children then proceeded to create their own eco-enzyme cleaners with some simple ingredients: water, brown sugar and citrus peels.
They brought their cleaners home to ferment for three months before putting them to use.
