Prior to the launch of SSDB 2022, parents expectations for the project were heightened through the release of a poster!
We officially embarked on our SSDB project on the 22nd of April 2022, which also falls on Earth Day.
On this day, children of all levels took part in Earth Day activities and demonstrated their concern for the environment.
As a part of our parental involvement project, we had our children and their families participate in a recycling activity to recreate something old into something new! It was inspiring to see the creativity displayed by the children when they came to school wearing clothes made from recycled materials!
Aside from that, they also constructed various landmarks in Singapore out of recycled materials. Further showing their love for Earth, children also made their own watering cans to shower Earth with abundant love.
To end of, in honor of our Earth Day celebration, we had children write a pledge to show how deeply they appreciate Earth and pledge to be fully commited of protecting it ❤️
