On June 27, 2025, our K2 children visited Sparklecare @ Yew Tee to celebrate Racial Harmony Day with the seniors as part of our Intergeneration Programme. Through hands-on activities such as designing a kebaya top, making oil lamps, and creating lanterns, the children gained greater awareness of the rich traditions from different races. They also enjoyed spending quality time with the seniors, sharing conversations and laughter while learning the value of respect and harmony across generations.
The celebration was made even more lively as the children sang and danced in four different languages, showcasing the beauty of our diverse culture. They also put up a special performance by dancing to BTS’ “Dynamite” and concluded with a heartwarming Chinese song, 《小花朵》, bringing smiles to the seniors’ faces.
