Our centre was filled with joy and laughter as grandparents joined their grandchildren for our SSDB 2025 Finale: “Grandparents in the House” — a heartwarming workshop that redefined what technology means for families today.
The day began with a Wellness Sharing and Tech Toy Play Session, where parents, guardians, and children explored how technology can be used meaningfully beyond screens. Through hands-on play and guided discussions, families learned that innovation can foster creativity, curiosity, and togetherness.
In the second half of the workshop, grandparents took centre stage as they joined their grandchildren in a 3D Pen activity. Together, they explored how this simple yet fascinating tool could bring imagination to life. With every shared laugh and discovery, children and grandparents created not just 3D models — but also memories built on love, patience, and mutual learning.
As we come to an end of this year’s Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) journey, we celebrate how these meaningful intergenerational experiences have strengthened children’s relationships with senior citizens. Through these ongoing activities, our children have learned to show respect, empathy, and care — values that shine through in their warm interactions with the elderly.
These connections remind us that learning goes beyond the classroom — it happens through relationships, shared experiences, and moments of kindness that bridge generations.
🌟 A heartfelt thank you to all our grandparents and families for joining us in this journey — ending our SSDB year with creativity, love, and the true spirit of community.
