The best way to teach our children eco-friendly practices (reusable, recycling) is by taking the lead ourselves. We gave out circular to parents during the June school holiday. Guide them to teach their children to adopt eco-friendly practices - collect bottles and make into beautiful craft work. We explained to parents the meaning of reuse is the use of products which they already have rather than throwing them away and buying new ones. The project is a success as they can see the beautiful artwork done by the children. We are not able to bring children to present the artwork to the old aged (most of the old aged home are fully booked). However, we let the children do the role play on how they would present their beautiful artwork to friends in class.
