Our N1 and N2 children recently took part in the HPB Healthy Lifestyle Puppet Show, where they learned about six key healthy habits through an engaging and interactive experience. These habits included:
• Eating a balanced diet
•Washing hands before meals
•Playing outdoors for at least three hours a day
•Getting enough sleep each day
•Taking regular eye breaks during close-up activities
•Staying smoke-free
The lively puppet performance successfully captured the children’s attention and helped them grasp the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices.
To extend their learning, the children participated in hands-on art and craft activity themed ‘Pasta and Vegetable Salad’. This creative project served as a fun and meaningful way to reinforce the concept of ‘My Healthy Plate’. Through this activity, the children could visualise and better understand the appropriate proportions of various food groups needed for a balanced and nutritious meal.
