For this year’s SSDB focus, we decided on making recycling our main focus! The title of our project is ‘Making Recycling our Lifestyle”. Children have prior knowledge and exposure to the topic relating to reusing and recycling.
During their engagement in this project, children were given the opportunity to create recycled paper and also recycling their old t-shirt into a drawstring bag. In addition, we get parents to contribute by donating some groceries and essentials such as sanitizers and mask to be packed and distributed to the essential workers.
In lieu with the Earth Day Celebration on 22 April 2022 for our launch party! Children were task to create their very own class mascot using the recycling materials. Parents were asked to contribute various recycling materials that they have at home for the project. Classes set up their exhibition station, displaying their respective class ’ s mascot
