The N2 children were intrigued by the usage of recycling bins and purpose of recycling. Taking on the role as an environment ambassador, children embarked on the mission to save water, reduce food waste, recycle milk packets and cleaned the neighbourhood which the waste were all set for recycling. Children turned into Captain Green as they reviewed the process of recycling and upcycling waste by creating their own recycled paper.
As for the K2s, they embarked on the theme, “Family and Environmental Caring.” Families were partnered in this project by exercising responsibility in sustainable changes from home. Parents accomplished tasks and helped to track children’s progress which made the project relatable and meaningful to the children. To record their learning, K2s documented it via a journal.
Ultimately, the project raised awareness and sparked children’s social responsibility from young.
