Little Legends on Being Responsible Pet Owners

Our Little Legends in Carpe Diem Schoolhouse at Toa Payoh were introduced to the concept of Being Responsible Pet Owners through the story _“Sara and Sunny learn to be Pet Owners for a Week”._ The children were engaged by asking questions in between the storytelling activity. After that, the children were given the chance to share what pets they have at home and in what ways do they show their love and care for them. Everyone showed their excitement as they talk about how much they love the pets that they have! 💕

The storytelling activity was wrapped up by reminding the children that “having a pet is not only just about playing and having fun. It is about being responsible by giving them their needs.”

The Little Legends were also engrossed in the activity “Pass the Question Box”. The K1 and K2 children came up with questions that they want to know about Pet Adoption and Being a Responsible Pet Owner.

They wrote down their own questions with minimal assistance and were tasked to do a “simple research” to find the answers to their queries which promotes inquisitiveness and critical thinking skills among the children.

It is still a long way to go but our Little Legends have already displayed keenness as they gain more knowledge on Being a Responsible Pet Owners!
