As part of our Hari Raya Awareness Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming elders from Muhammadiyah Daycare Centre to join in the celebration.
Elders from various racial backgrounds took part in the event, sharing their personal stories and experiences of how Hari Raya was celebrated in the past. The children were excited and curious to learn about the different traditions and customs practiced back then.
In addition to the storytelling, the elders also joined in some lighthearted family games, including “Dance and Freeze,” where they partnered with the children, and a sing-along session featuring classic Hari Raya songs.
It was a heartwarming event filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful intergenerational bonding—everyone truly enjoyed the time spent together!
