Our K1s spent their past few weeks with their seedlings, which we planted earlier this month for the fundraising for Sree Narayana Mission. Our responsible children watered their plants everyday, took good care of them and made sure that their seedlings received enough sunlight. While the plants were growing, our children painted their pots with the help of teachers. Meanwhile, our teachers also worked as a team to make macrame plant hangers. The seedlings grew in no time, thanks to the teamwork of all our children and teachers!
22nd September 2020 - the day we had all been looking forward to eagerly, finally arrived! We arranged the plants and set up our fundraising booth outside the school. Our children sold the plants they grew to their respective parents all by themselves, with their tiny hands graciously receiving their generous contributions. Children were so excited and it was a highly enriching experience for them. They happily carried their baby plants home along with our handmade macrame plant hangers. As for the parents, they took time out of their busy schedules and contributed to the fundraising with such a generous and giving heart. Overall, it was an amazing experience for all of us.
