As part of our Eco-Champions in Action project, our centre will be participating in a food donation drive to help children understand that being an eco-champion is not only about caring for the environment, but also about caring for people in the community.
Through this initiative, children will learn that food should not be wasted, as it is a valuable resource. The children excitedly did their part decorating the donation drive signage. This gives them an opportunity to contribute actively to the project and to spread awareness in a creative and meaningful way.
We hope that through this food donation drive, children will develop a stronger sense of responsibility, empathy, and environmental awareness. They will begin to understand that being an eco-champion means making thoughtful choices that help both the Earth and the people around us.
