Building a Greener Future Together
As part of our SSDB 2025 journey, we invited parents and children to work hand-in-hand on a sustainable craft project. Families reused materials from home such as cardboard boxes, containers, fabric scraps, and paper rolls to create meaningful crafts.
This activity not only nurtured creativity but also reinforced the value of reducing waste and reusing resources in daily life. Parents modelled eco-friendly habits for their children, while children enjoyed the opportunity to bond with their families in a purposeful way.
The completed crafts were proudly displayed in front of the centre, creating a sense of pride and ownership among families and children alike. More importantly, the project strengthened our home-school partnership while fostering a shared responsibility for caring for the environment.
With this, we hope that, our children can learn that together with their families, they can make a big difference for our planet.
