K1 & K2 children and staff from Sweetlands Childcare Farrer Road 6 Pte Ltd worked closely with Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) to raise awareness of children cancer and hoped that through our small but united effort, to raise funds for the children and family impacted by cancer.
The event was carried out on 10 June 2017.
We invited parents to play a part through the following means:

Contribute items for sale at our booth.

Spread the word about our initiative and invite friends and family to join us!

100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the CCF.
We engaged a staff from CCF to conduct a public education talk at our premise to educate our children about the challenges of life being faced by their peers.
We created an opportunity to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship by involving our K1 & K2 children to spread awareness through flyers distribution.
Through the event, we strengthened the parent-child relationship, broadened minds, instilled good values through this small effort put in by our parents, children and staff.
The spark of our project had also drawn our neighbours to us. 2 neighbours contributed to the gathering of items. A lady spent 2.5 days and bore the cost price to make many pots of flowers for us to raise funds.
The greatest encouragement gained from this project was the amount that was raised, that broke the challenging goal we set to raise.
