The teachers from Extraordinary School brought along three plushie puppets for a special dramatization and puppet show. This engaging session was conducted for the N2 to K2 children and focused on raising awareness about autism.
Using the puppets, the teachers told meaningful stories and sang songs to teach children the importance of being kind, patient, and understanding towards individuals with autism. This creative and child-friendly approach helped the children learn that everyone is unique and that it is important to embrace and appreciate diversity.
Following the dramatization, the children were asked simple reflective questions to reinforce their understanding. The session concluded with a hands-on activity where the children created their own simple puppets, adding a fun and meaningful end to this learning experience.
