WORLD WATER DAY @Little footprints Preschool - Balestier

Our school embarked on our World Water Day journey by introducing to children why water is important to us and what we can do to save water.

Due to the impact of the epidemic, teachers and children continued to follow up on the importance of saving water via zoom. We discussed the roles and responsibilities of saving water. Some children shared that water can be used for drinking, while other children said they can use water to clean their dirty hands.

At the same time , the children went back to school to carry out hands on activities. The above picture depicts the activity by the nursery class children. They printed their palms on paper than cut and pasted them on the earth and decorated them. This picture shows ‘ to save water is to save our home’.The children from PG/PN classes painted their hands to create an handprint craft. This craft shows the little palms holding up their hands to catch every drop of water, which meant ‘ Every drop counts’.
