Children in SKC had an enjoyable Racial Harmony Day celebration that was held on Thursday, 21st July 2022. Through this event, they learned the significance of celebrating Racial Harmony Day and foster appreciation for other races and cultures in Singapore, thereby promoting social and cultural cohesion .

Children were given an insightful information on how this occasion is celebrated through understanding what racial harmony is about and visiting different booths that include fun-filled cultural activities.

Children had the opportunity to visit the Indian, Chinese, Malay, Eurasian and Filipino cultural booths, and were eager to find out more about the uniqueness of these cultures. They had an enriching cultural experience through hands-on activities such as exploring different Indian spices, performing Tai-chi, participating in Malay traditional games as well as moving to the rhythm of Eurasian and Filipino music.

Children learned the significance of Tai-chi in Chinese culture that brings balance, focus, calmness and many health benefits for the body.
