Children at Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park celebrated Singapore Armed Forces Day on the 1st of July 2022. The Singapore Armed Forces Day is a special day whereby the armed forces showcase their dedication to the country. It is also an occasion where they further commit their loyalty and celebrate their efforts in defending our country.
On this day, the children came dressed in military outfits and military-coloured outfits too. They showcased their outfits in front of their peers as they shared about the armed forces they were representing. Children with parents in the armed forces shared about their parents’ jobs as well serving the nation.
As the children learnt more about the importance of Singapore’s Armed Forces Day, they created different craftworks to show what this day meant to them. From tanks to soldiers to helmets, the children created different crafts that represents the armed forces. They also proudly showed and shared what they have made with their teachers and peers.
“Armed forces day, above all, honours the dedicated individuals who wear the uniforms of the country”.
