The children enjoys pets for many reasons. They like watching them, touching them, handling them, caring for them and learning about them.
The K2 children were excited to learn that many different animals can become pets by playing the interesting card games and learning takes place at the same time. The children also learned about responsible pets ownership and discovered for themselves their pets’ needs and wants.
The children have had the opportunities in building (models of construction by NParks) Vet Clinic, Park, Nature Reserve and Animal Shelter which helps enhance their understanding of the different roles they play to support the community, animals and wildlife that share their home.
