It’s true enough that the journey of a thousand miles begin with a single step. As our journey approaches to an end we couldn’t afford but look back and reflect at our wonderful encounters filled with enthralling adventures. The teachers and children have nothing but profound gratitude for being a part of such a magnificent project. As we reminisce those memories, we realise the importance of loving others and appreciating life as an amazing journey.
Start Small Dream Big project taugt children not just the basic connotation of what kindness is but also learnt to spread love in a more genuine way. Our little bucket fillers have exerted their best efforts to develop positive dispositions as they thrive to care, empathise and show affection to their peers, family and their community. SSDB has provided them with rich opportunities to build camaraderie with the elderly and were engaged in community services.
As our bucket fillers strive to fulfill their missions as Kindness Ambassadors they develop a sense of responsibility that is essentially needed to equip them with a strong driving force to face life’s greater challenges.
SSDB project may have come to an end but the learning experiences will be etched in the hearts of the children and their duties as bucket fillers will live on from one generation to another. May the simple yet heartfelt awards honour the exemplary jobs that children have contributed.
