The K1s had a meaningful time at the Metta Day Rehabilitation Centre for the Elderly where they engaged in a Water Relay Race with the elderly.
During the activity, children carefully poured water from their cup into the elderly cups and learnt to be patient and mindful of the challenges the elderly may face.
Despite the slower pace at which the elderly poured the water, children showed understanding, encouragement and care throughout the activity.
Through this fun and interactive activity, children foster empathy, compassion and mutual respect by collaborating in a meaningful inter‐generational activities with the elderly.
