A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves. - Amelia Earhart
On 19th June 2020, we had a Launch Party for our “Start Small Dream Big” President’s Challenge Project. The theme for this year is “A Caring and Inclusive Home for All.” We have decided to embark on the topic of “Kindness.” Children learned about the importance of kindness and ways to show kindness all around.
The children were able to quickly understand the importance of kindness. They demonstrated some ways to show kindness. They helped to clean the table after lunch, cleaning up after playing, and even gave an appreciation note to one of the staff!
During the Launch Party, the children wrote heartfelt messages about kindness onto a rainbow scratch paper. They shared their messages to one another.
Our K1s and K2s of MMI Thomson are looking forward for the upcoming fun-filled activities through craftworks, preparing ways to give back to the community as an appreciation, and various ways on how they can show more wonderful acts of Kindness in the society through their own simple ways!
