For our SSDB (Start Small Dream Big) launch, we invited guests from SASCO Senior Citizens’ Home to share about the meaningful work they do to support the elderly in our community. The session gave our children a better understanding of the needs of seniors and inspired them to show care and kindness.
As an extension of the launch, parents sent in photos of their children’s grandparents. In class, the children shared about their grandparents with their peers, learning to speak with pride and warmth about the elders in their lives.
This launch marked the beginning of our SSDB journey to empower young hearts, nurturing empathy, kindness and respect for the older generation through real stories and meaningful connections.
