Our SSDB activities continued after the launch party. We invited parents and children to work on designing appreciation card for the unsung heroes in our centre. Some parents had gotten their children to appreciate the heroes through speech, song and dance (see links in earlier slide).From July to Aug, teachers in -charge planned art and craft activities for the SSDB closure. Children were taught to create a craftwork- flower in a flower pot. Other children were to make a bookmark. The children were seen to be engaged in the processes - painting, pasting and threading (bookmark).The children presented their craft to the unsung heroes in our centre during Teacher’s Day. This presentation marked the closure of SSDB in our centre.
