We officially launched our SSDB 2025 project, Growing Brave, Staying Safe, through a meaningful hands-on First Aid Training session facilitated by the Singapore Red Cross. This partnership reflects our shared goal of nurturing children who are confident, empathetic, and capable of caring for others — aligning closely with E-Bridge’s vision of developing curious learners and capable thinkers in a supportive, creative environment.
Before the session, families completed a short survey on the importance of first aid and children’s confidence in emergencies. Our older children then participated in age-appropriate, interactive first aid demonstrations, with parents learning alongside them — a shared experience that built both skills and connection. At the same time, our younger children began their Everyday Kind Acts project, engaging in simple, thoughtful actions that nurtured kindness and responsibility in daily routines.
In July, we came together as a community for a joyful Family Walkathon and Fundraising Day at Yishun Park. The event began with a heartfelt sharing by our Centre Leader and the Singapore Red Cross, setting a purposeful tone. Families enjoyed a morning walk followed by carnival-style game booths and interactive activities prepared by our teachers and SRC team, designed to reinforce values of care, resilience, and teamwork.
We are proud to share that our fundraising efforts raised SGD $3,116 for the Singapore Red Cross — a reflection of the compassion and unity within our Yishun 504 community. Thank you to all children, families, educators, and SRC partners for making this meaningful launch possible.
Together, we took the first steps in helping our children grow brave, stay safe, and care deeply for those around them.
