“We love the animals so we need to take care of them and protect them and their homes!”
As our children concluded this year’s SSDB Project on theme of ‘Wonders of the Wild’, they reflected on their meaningful learning journey to explore wildlife animals and the importance of wildlife conservation.
“I think it’s important to protect the animals and their homes so that they can forever live inside the nature place with the trees and grass!”
Our K1 and K2 children were encouraged to take part in the finale activity, with the help of their parents, to create a poster on wildlife conservation as part of family involvement.
“The animals live on the Earth with us so we need to protect and love them in the world!”
Our parents showed great enthusiasm to be involved in the finale project as they worked alongside their child to promote the importance of wildlife conservation. They could unleash their creativity and imagination while making use of art-and-craft materials to design their own posters.
“My mummy draw these animals then I help to colour, and my mummy tell me to say no to animal products and animal circuses!”
Our children were then engaged in the show-and-tell session, in which they presented their posters to other peers and shared about their knowledge on wildlife conservation. All the posters were proudly displayed as part of our project showcase!
