In conjunction with term 3 theme - animal, children in class N2 had shown interest in aquatic animals as they dived into a library book titled, “Lift and Explore Oceans”. Our principal had also taken the effort to buy several colorful fishes of different species such as guppies and angelfish. Children had also worked together to create the dramatic corner “Sea Aquarium” and learnt several diving communication hand signs such as “Okay”, “Stop” and “Go”. With their great interest in fishes and its body parts, children also created a giant fish using recycled bottle caps and cardboard. Thus, on par with the “Evergreen” categories aligned with SSDB’s main objectives - Caring for animals.
