As our SSDB Project “Stay Healthy, Stay Fit” continues, the children of Carpe Diem Mi Schoolhouse had their “Sports Day” on Friday 26th of May 2023.
Children were gathered at the pavilion near the school for the event. Our school director, Mr Moses, started the event with his opening speech for the event. The purpose of the event is to encourage healthy habits among the children and their parents.
Children did a simple workout together with their parents. The teacher also prepared some games for the parents and children to provide the opportunity to bond together through the activities.
The event ends by giving the parents healthy snacks and instilling in the children the importance of physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle.
