For the whole month of April, children at Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park had our Recycling Month! The Recycle Right with Bloobin campaign aims to raise awareness in the importance of recycling. It also encourages children to recycle with their families too.
The children were involved in a variety of activities about recycling weekly so as to explore the different recyclable items. They learnt in what it means to reduce, reuse & recycle in their daily lives through the Bloobin activity e-booklet, hands-on recycling activities and recycled crafts activities too.
Teachers created our very own DIY recycle bin for the children to throw their recyclables into. Every day, children came to school together with their families and brought their own recyclables from home to be thrown into the recycle bin. It encouraged the spirit of recycling amongst not only the children and their families, but the staff in the school too.
After SKC’s recycle month, we could still see children and their families bringing in recyclables to be thrown today. Let’s continue the recycling spirit for a long time!
By recycling the present, we will be saving the future.
