Reaching Out with Love

Following the roll out of our Food Donation Drive for the elders at Orange Valley Nursing Home, our K2 children put in great effort in creating pop-up cards for the elders altogether!

Before making the cards, children had a sharing session on ways to care for an elder. Some ideas from our children include:

  • Draw pictures for the elderly - Parco, Bonnie & Bentley

  • Bring the elderly for a walk - Angelina

  • Play with the elderly - Qaizer

  • Sing with the elderly - Mikhail

  • Prepare food or gifts for the elderly - Enkai & Zerrain

  • Don’t make them angry or sad - Aidan, Amsyar, Lechelle

After our discussion, children went on to create their special pop-up card.

Shaped like a pair of hands cupping a heart, the card carries the meaning to reach out to the elders with love! ♥️ Children also pen down on the card, their heartfelt short messages for the elders.

We learn to Love, Share and Care for the Elders, from Skool4kidz Woodlands Ring Road Ready Skoolers (K2)
