As part of our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) initiative, our K1 and K2 children collaborated with the residents of Singapore Christian Home on 2 July 2025 in a meaningful intergenerational activity. Together, they created otter-themed coasters using dry clay.
Through this hands-on experience, the children not only expressed their creativity but also developed important social-emotional skills. They communicated confidently with the elderly, practiced turn-taking, and showed empathy and respect throughout the session. This memorable collaboration fostered a strong sense of community, kindness, and environmental awareness—core values that the SSDB project aims to nurture in our young learners.
