PCF Charity Week 2025 - Kindness Begins With Me

During our annual Charity Week, our preschoolers embraced the spirit of giving through meaningful, age-appropriate activities that encouraged empathy, community service, and environmental care.
Nursery 2 (N2) students participated in a planting activity, where they learned about nurturing life and the importance of caring for the environment. This hands-on experience helped them understand how small actions can lead to growth—both in nature and in kindness.
Kindergarten 1 (K1) took a special trip to an elderly care home, where they shared handmade cards and donated essential items which was donated by our lovely parents- we greatly appreciate their donations and working together with us for this charity event. The visit was filled with heartwarming moments as the children sang songs and interacted with the residents, bringing smiles and joy to everyone involved. One of our objectives was to instill respect, kindness and caring towards elderly to promote lifelong learning as when they grow up.
Kindergarten 2 (K2) stepped into the community with a sense of purpose, heading out to distribute donated goods- consist or personal hygiene items also donated by our lovely parents- we truly appreciate their kindness and their sincere thoughts for our hard- working town councils. The children helped hand over the items, learning about civic responsibility and the importance of helping those in need within our own neighborhoods.
Through these activities, our children demonstrated that even the youngest hearts can make a big difference. We are proud of our little changemakers who showed that kindness, generosity, and care have no age limit. The kindness activities that we engaged is aligned with our mission, vision and core values.
