On 8th August 2025, our N2 - K2 children took part in a heartwarming National Day celebration alongside a neighbouring preschool, PCF Sparkletots and the elderly residents at NTUC Health Marsiling. Under the theme “Little to Big Hearts,” this event beautifully showcased how the kindness and curiosity of little hearts can connect deeply with the wisdom and warmth of big hearts.
As part of the collaboration, children from both preschools came together to sing the National Anthem and recite the pledge, fostering a shared sense of patriotism. They also participated in a joint art and craft initiative where each child expressed what they love about Singapore through their drawings. These artworks were then combined to create a unified piece that beautifully reflects the children’s collective appreciation and prideout session set to National Day songs, energizing everyone and adding a fun, interactive element to the celebration.
Each school took turns leading a lively dance and workout session set to National Day songs, energizing everyone and adding a fun, interactive element to the celebration. This activity encouraged participation, teamwork, and a joyful way to express national pride through movement.
The children also engaged the elderly residents in an interactive National Day virtual session, where they played a fun guessing game featuring iconic symbols and food of Singapore. This activity sparked lively conversation and connection, allowing both generations to share knowledge and celebrate the nation’s heritage together.
The children had a wonderful time contributing to the “Little to Big Hearts” theme alongside two key stakeholders, while joyfully celebrating Singapore’s 60th birthday.
