Our enthusiastic 5 and 6 year old children recently took on a mini clean-up adventure at the playground! With gloves on and cheerful spirits, they worked together to collect litter using plastic bags. Afterwards, we explored what they had gathered and sorted the items into plastics, paper and non-recyclables. It eas a wonderful and hands-on way for the children to learn about caring for the environment and keeping our play areas tidy. The activity also sparked thoughtful conversations and the important role of the town council cleaners in looking after our community spaces. We were so proud to see our young learners showing such awareness and taking meaningful steps toward a more sustainable future!
