On 1st June 2018, we had a Learning Journey to Bollywood Veges in conjunction with Parents Day Celebration. The objective of our Learning Journey is to expose both the children & their parents on the importance of nature as well as various ways in which they can ensure a sustainability of the Earth’s resources. It also provides opportunities for the children to bond with their parents.
We started the Learning Journey with a farm tour at Bollywood Veges. Children and their parents were brought around the farm to learn more about different types of plants. They also had the opportunity to touch, smell & even taste some of the plants!
The children also had an opportunity to engage in a Craft with Nature activity where they used various elements of Nature to create a piece of artwork. They had fun engaging in this activity with their parents.
At the end of the whole Learning Journey, children also presented their pre-prepared Parents Day gifts to their parents.
