Our centre had our special National Day celebration with families on 8th August 2023. The celebration was celebrated together with the closure of our SSDB 2023 project. With the partnership with Food Bank Pte Ltd, our children and families worked hand in hand in packing of food donation items that was donated by our children & families,for families in need. Everyone did their part in sorting the food donation items into categories for the ease of Food Bank’s logistics. We were glad that this participation of our little ones in this new centre initiative had exemplified the values of giving and kindness which aligns with our SSDB 2023 Project slogan “Every Giving of Little Kindness Matters!”. We hope that with this centre’s food donation drive initiative has helped in raising awareness about food insecurity and food wastage and also inspire others to act as well.
