Kindsville Puppet Show

As part of our SSDB project “Love for Everyone”, we have invited Singapore Kindness Movement down for a puppet show to show children how we can be kind and considerate to the people around us.

The children were thoroughly engaged by the puppet show presented by the Singapore Kindness Movement, which masterfully combined entertainment with important life lessons.

The Kindness Cubbies captivated the children as they guided them through a playful journey of experiencing and understanding different emotions. Each scene in the play brought to life a variety of feelings, helping the children recognize and relate to these emotions. Through the Cubbies’ gentle guidance, the children learned practical ways to manage their emotions, understanding that while it’s okay to feel a range of emotions, it’s important to stay mindful of the words we use and the actions we take toward our friends.

Lots of laughters and giggles can be heard from the children as they watched the puppet show and learnt from the Kindness Cubbies’ experiences.

The interactive nature of the performance made these lessons even more impactful, as the children actively participated in the scenarios presented by the Cubbies. By the end of the play, the message was clear: despite the ups and downs of our feelings, we can always choose kindness and consideration in our interactions with others.

The event concluded with the “Kindness Dance,” a lively and joyful celebration that brought the children together in a shared experience of love and unity.

This powerful lesson tied beautifully into the overarching theme of “Love for Everyone,” reminding our young audience that love and kindness are the foundation of strong, supportive friendships and relationship.
