Our K2 children have started a meaningful journey with this year’s Start Small Dream Big project, titled “Kind Hearts, Strong Bonds”. This special theme focuses on appreciating the people closest to us — our family members and friends.
To kick off the project, we held a warm and joyful launch party in class! The children gathered together to share their thoughts and feelings about what family and friendship mean to them. It was heartwarming to hear them express love, gratitude, and kindness through their own little voices.
Some children shared how their families care for them, cook their favourite food, or help them when they are sad. Others talked about how friends play together, share toys, and make them laugh. Through these honest and thoughtful conversations, our K2s began to understand the importance of building strong, loving relationships with those around them.
As part of the project, we will continue to explore ways to show appreciation — through art, stories, small acts of kindness, and activities that bring families and friends closer together.
We believe that even the smallest hearts can make a big difference. With Kind Hearts and Strong Bonds, our children are learning that love, care, and friendship make the world a better place — starting right from their own homes and classrooms. 💖
